The Security Woodlawn Business Association (SWBA) exists to continually improve the overall environment of the Security Woodlawn Community and the public's perception of both the residential and business areas that comprise this portion of Baltimore County, MD.

 

The Association will primarily seek to accomplish its mission by doing the following:

 

  • Improve the security and appearance of the community, 

 

  • Improve the business climate and implement focused marketing of the area internally and throughout the surrounding Baltimore Metropolian area, and

 

  • Proactively, work with businesses, public and/or private organizations and the residents of the local community to create better working relationships among the groups.

 

Meetings

 

Our meetings are held the third Wednesday of every month (except August) and are usually held at the Woodlawn Library. 1811 Woodlawn Drive, Woodlawn, Maryland. Click here for directions.

 

Networking begins at 8:45 a.m. & the General Meeting begins at 9 a.m.

May 21, 2014 General Body Meeting
10th District State Senator Delores Kelley and Delegate Shirley Nathan-Pulliam will provide us a legislative wrap-up of the 2014 MD Legislative Session.  SWBA meetings are held at the Woodlawn Library unless otherwise specified. Breakfast meeting will start at 8:30am.

June 18, 2014 General Body Meeting

Our presenters will be members of the Red Line Project Team. They will be providing an update on this major transit project and discussing its impact on the Security Woodlawn business and community areas.  Please come and find out more about this MTA Project with government support.


No meetings in July & August

 

Reserve September 17, 2014 from noon to 2:00 p.m. on your calendar for our SWBA networking luncheon event at Monaghan’s Pub.  More details about this event will be shared at our June meeting and on our website in July since an RSVP will be required.
